Phoenix rising is my ongoing fancomic about chaos, destiny, luck, and a stray cat.

Phoenix Rising takes place in an alternate timeline were Lord Shen, the elegant and iconic villain from Kung Fu Panda 2, survived the final battle, But just barely. He is now on set on getting his revenge and

Forging his true destiny.

The story will

Be told in approximately 13 chapters. It’s traditionally drawn with ink and watercolor and edited in clip studio paint. My process is time consuming but it gives it a unique look and sets it apart from other webtoons.

My comic is heavily inspired by original dreamworks concept art, traditional Chinese ink painting, manga, as well as western comics.

It’s really a combination of everything I like thrown into one bizarre fanproject.

It’s both my reason for living and my own odd little Sisyphus boulder
